Are you still shipping orders?
Yes! As a very small but mighty online business we are currently still able to post orders to you. Mister Berwyn is a one woman business. It is only Amy (founder of Mister Berwyn) and her two dogs in the studio so no self isolation guidelines are broken. Amy is able to work in isolation and get parcels to Royal Mail and our other couriers without any contact. All measures are being taken to ensure government and WHO guidelines are followed. To further help stop the spread of Covid-19 all orders will now be dispatched three times a week opposed to every day. Orders will be dispatched Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. If you need an order urgently please bare this in mind.
Thank you for your support past and present. Your support will carry us through this and each order means so much to us right now. We pride ourselves on working with fellow small businesses and small manufacturers in the UK and Sweden, all of which have been hit very hard by Covid-19, your support means we can continue to do that. Mister Berwyn was established to create cheerful products to brighten peoples day and we hope to continue to be able to do that now more than ever for you and your loved ones. Thank you.
Will my order be delayed?
Some countries may find there is a delay with their postal service. We are checking this regularly. We have no control over this but are on hand to answer any questions and help track your parcel should you need to.
Can you send something to my loved one for me?
Yes! We are more than happy to post your orders directly to your loved ones. Simply put your name and address in the billing section at the checkout and your loved ones name and address in the delivery section. We'll even gift wrap and write a little note from you to them. Tell us what you'd like us to write in the comments section at the checkout or email us via the contact us page or directly at email@example.com. Where are your products made?
We are proud to say all our products are made by skilled craftspeople across the UK.
Are your products sustainable?
Sustainability is very important to us! We sustainably source our products and reuse as much packaging as possible. Our ceramics are made from sustainably sourced Cornish clay and our Placemats and Coasters are sustainably sourced eucalyptus board. As well as sustainably sourcing our materials and products as a British based company manufacturing in the UK we have a much lower carbon footprint than most.
We believe that sustainability shouldn't just be about the materials used but also about the process. Making sure the traditional skills used to make something are taught, used and sustained. Many of our products are handcrafted and it sits at the core of our business.
Are your placemats and coasters easy to clean?
Our Placemats and Coasters are great for messy eaters! They are made from sustainably sourced eucalyptus board but have a smooth melamine coating on top which makes them very durable and easy to clean. Simply wipe clean with a damp cloth and use time and time again! They're also heat resistant up to 140 degrees making them versatile around your table.
Are your ceramics dishwasher safe?
All our ceramics are dishwasher and microwave safe besides our Nocturnal Mug and plate, Fox and Rabbit Cup and Saucer and Teapot due to the gold on them. All our items with hand painted elements, our Circus Mug for example, are perfectly safe for the dishwasher or microwave.
Who creates all of your designs and where are they created?
All our designs are created in house by Founder and Designer, Amy. If you'd like to know more take a look at our About Us page.
